 Legends say he rose to divine status after his role in the slaughter of the elven race on the Dragon Continent.  Not only was his own power a force to be reckoned with, but he toted his comrades on his back into battle.  Obviously, Elves not only never worship Tivo, but they consider his worship an insult, and mentioning his name around them is a good way to start a fight or bring out the irrational side of an elf.  Evil mounted warriors, or evil sentient mounts praise Tivos power and pray for his strength before battles.
