Known Languages

Abyssal- Language of planar creatures of the Abyss or Voidal planes

Celestial- Language of Celestial creatures or planar creatures of the Omniscience planes

Draconic- Ancient language of the Dragons and their descendant races

Dwarven- Native tongue of the Dwarven races

Elven- Native tongue of the Elven races

Gaffarak- Broken version of the Gnoll racial language.  Gnoll speakers have trouble comprehending it, but Gaffarak speakers usually get most of what a Gnoll speaker says.

Giant- Native tongue of the Giant races and many mountain dwelling races

Gnoll- Native tongue of the Gnoll races, sans the Gaffar

Gnome- Native tongue of the Gnomish races

Goblin- Native tongue of the Goblin races

Gol-Kaa- Native tongue of the Goliath races

Herbine- Native tongue of the fey race, the Herbine.

Halfling- Native tongue of the Halfling races

Ikikimean- The native language of the Ikikimeani Empire

Infernal- Language of Demons and Demonic creatures typically of extraplanar origin

K-Orc- A more civilized version of the Orc language formed by mixing Orc and Kroeakhan, though it is truly a language of it’s own.  It is one of the two primary ‘common’ languages of the Western Badlands

Kroeakhan- A convoluted language comprised of many curses and swears.  Polite languages often don’t successfully translate.  It is one of the two primary ‘common’ languages of the Western Badlands.

Mobeian- The Native language of the Mobeik Region

Orc- Native tongue of the Orc races

Rian- A highly civilized language with incredibly detailed nuances perfect for diplomacy.  It is the common language of the Rin’nikhu region.

Sylvan- The language of higher woodland fey, such as Duskling, Dryad, or Nymphs

Terran- The language of extraplanar creatures of the earthen element

Undrekhan- The common language of many races of the Underdark.  It has surprisingly few dialects and is specific enough to work well in diplomacy.
