The Time of Many Borders

While castle towns and local loyalties already existed, this point generally marks the time frame that races began to truly mingle and regional borders first began to be drawn with some permanency. As usual, the elves did not take kindly to such, but they were still among the first to mark their borders and claim some of the largest nations. Many wars were fought over land and homeland as races strived to have something of their own. The Humans still claimed no land as theirs, fitting in well to the populace of all other races in one way or another.
